Rattler, also known as Gustav "Gus" Gilbert, is a Marvel Comics supervillain most notably associated with the Serpent Society. He possesses the mutant ability to generate powerful vibratory waves with his body, primarily manifested through his shaking limbs, particularly his legs.

Born in Clifton, Texas, Rattler developed his powers early in life, causing accidental destruction due to uncontrolled vibrations. He was recruited into the Serpent Society by Viper, where he became a loyal and dangerous member. His primary role within the team was providing disruptive attacks during heists and battles.
